Finding you to Find Myself

Production of the Art project directed by Olivia Cho and Captured my Mark Dexter.

"An outlet to express a personal journey.
It’s about an awakening to my own roots, a calling
to explore more about where I come from,
to construct a narrative about my origins.
I skipped the familiar surface layer of being born
and growing up in Brazil, to explore a side partly unknown of myself.

It started with food: what nourish us physically but also in a soul level.
It took me to connecting with some Danish people from Korea - people who have been submitted to adoption, who were torn away from their birth country - learning their stories, the common mystery of the human search to understand where we come from, and the comfort on what we can understand, literally in a gut level.
